*Waltzingmouse* July Release Blog Walt

Hey everyone! This it! Today’s Release Day at Waltzingmouse Stamps and I can’t wait for you all to see all of the 8 sets in their entirety! The Design Team is celebrating today, as we do every release day, with a fun Blog Waltz, which begins here at the Waltzingmouse blog! Here’s a list of the 8 sets being released today:
- Cameos To Go,
- Cameo Creations,
- Classic Frames – Ovals,
- Big Day Essentials,
- Big Day Additions,
- You’re Lovely,
- Eat Cake, and
- Flourishes – Scallops & Dots
For today, I created a fun gift set with a coordinating card using Classic Frames – Ovals, Cameos To Go, and Cameo Creations. I’ve been collecting some gorgeous blue glass mason jars, and finally I said, “Ok, Sarah, you’ve GOT to do something with these things!” Lol… and so here we have a fun, decorated mason jar, perfect for housing your favorite knicks and knacks, from ribbon & trim, to pens and pencils… whatever you want!

For my card, I created a fun background using an oval from Classic Frames – Ovals. This pattern looks awesome in subtle colors, as well as bold ones – and there are plenty more frames in the set that you can play with to get endless patterns!

And here’s the complete set for ya!

Alrighty, so I’m feeling celebratory today, lol!, so if you’d like to take this sweet jar & card gift set home with you, leave me a comment telling me which stamp set of this release is your favorite! And don’t go tellin’ me you love them all! Lol… I know you do, but I need you to pick a fave!

*Waltzingmouse Release* – Day 3

Hey y’all!
Welcome back to my blog for the Release Celebration for the Waltzingmouse! Every other month Claire releases a new collection of her fabulous designs, and this month we have a grand total of 8 new sets! Yes, 8!
Today the Design Team and I are showcasing the following sets:
- You’re Lovely,
- Eat Cake, and
- Flourishes – Scallops & Dots
My first card features You’re Lovely…

This set (when you see it in full) may come off as a bridal set of stamps, but I just love the bits and pieces of vintage flare that Claire included. It makes this set so incredibly versatile, and I think it may be one of my favorite of the release!

I love that this gorgeous dress form includes some add-on stamps within the set to allow for lots of customization! I paper pieced the bust of the dress form on my card today.
This next card features the first ever flourish set by Waltzingmouse Stamps! We’ve all been waiting so patiently for it, and boy was it well worth the wait! Check out some of the flourishes that are in this beautiful set, Flourishes – Scallops & Dots.

I wanted something bright and fun, and so I paired the red, coral, yellow and fresh green colors together to make this happy birthday card.

The sentiment is from Eat Cake. I’ll show a bit more from that stamp set in a sec…

Can’t you just imagine all of the fun ways you could utilize this stamp set?! Endless possibilities. I love the addition of the polka-dots and scallops, too. It makes for a fun twist on the elegant lines of the flourishes.
Up next, a card featuring Eat Cake, a super-fun cake-based stamp set, with lots of little additions to use on any project…

I thought I’d start with the star of the show… the cake! There are tons of ways to customize your cake, even down to the cake plate! I kept mine fairly simple, though, and added a touch of glitter to bump up the elegant factor.

My favorite part… the border stamp in this set is to die for! Y’all know how much I love to make fun use out of Claire’s little add-on stamps in her set, and Eat Cake totally allowed me to have a ball at it! The little flowers and flourishes and sentiments… ugh I could go on and on! Lol! I love it!

Felicitations! If that isn’t the most elegant greeting ever, I don’t know what is. That sentiment comes from Big Day – Additions, which I previewed a bit of yesterday.

And there you have it! That was fun, no? I sure have fun creating them!
Now if you haven’t already, head on over to see what the other DT ladies have done for ya… I promise you will be pleasantly surprised!…

p.s.,
I’m so sorry this didn’t go live earlier! Human error.
*Waltzingmouse Release* – Day 2

Hey y’all!
Welcome to Day 2 of the July Waltzingmouse Stamp Release! Every other month Claire releases a new collection of her fabulous designs, and this month we have a grand total of 8 new sets! Yes, 8!
Today the Design Team and I are showcasing the following sets:
- Big Day Essentials, and
- Big Day Additions
I was feeling in the mood to sew something, so I made a quick little gift sack using some scrap cotton fabric that I had on hand. I did a light tea-staining on it so it wasn’t so harsh white, and it matched my printed material perfectly.

Now, y’all know I like to brag on the high quality of Claire’s stamps, right? Well today, the story still holds true, and the crisp image you get when stamping with Waltzingmouse Stamps on fabric is a perfect testimony to that.

I used Big Day Additions for the sentiment on the bag, and Big Day Essentials for the sentiment on the card. I don’t need to say very much about the sheer gorgeousness of the font in these sets, do I? I think it speaks for itself.
I also used a bit of Classic Frames – Ovals to house some embellishments and a sentiment. They provide such a classy backdrop.

Well that’s all I have for you today, folks! I’m off to check out what the other DT ladies did, and you should, too!….

*Waltzingmouse Release* – Day 1

Hey y’all!
Welcome to Day 1 of the July Waltzingmouse Stamp Release! Every other month Claire releases a new collection of her fabulous designs, and this month we have a grand total of 8 new sets! Yes, 8!
Today the Design Team and I are showcasing the following sets:
- Cameo To Go,
- Cameo Creations, and
- Classic Frames – Ovals (coordinate with SpellBinder’s Classic Ovals – Large)
I created a card and a decorated the cover of this mini-album for my sweet Sydney… nice and girly for her. *wink*

Sydney did such a great job playing pretend with her little brother the other day when he needed someone to play with, even if she was too cool for it, she was all about making her little brother happy. I love that she looks out for someone else’s interests other than her own, so I’ll be dropping her a note of thanks in this card.
I created a rustic backdrop by stamping a woodgrain background (from Way Out West) onto kraft card stock, and then distressing it.

I could play all day long with the cameos and frames in these sets! In the photo above you can see how I layered some of the image for added dimension.
On the mini-album cover, I combined a sentiment from Cameo to Go and another set that is soon to be revealed. *wink*

Such a perfect sentiment for my6 daughter.
And here’s a final shot of the entire project:

So what do you think? Claire’s outdone herself once again with these gorgeous stamps!
Now off you go!… The rest of the Desgin Team has lots of eye candy to share with ya!…
