Embellish Color Trends Challenge – Patterned Paper

Hello sweets,

It’s Friday, and I have a few things on my plate today, so I’ll get right into my project if you don’t mind.

Today marks the beginning of a brand new Embellish Color Trends Challenge, and our focus this go ’round is patterned paper. I pulled out some of my favorite patterns from Crate Paper, the denim from their newest collection- Random, and the wood grain from a previous collection- Emma’s Shoppe. I also used a cream colored patterned paper to stamp my banner on, but you can’t really tell what it is.

On my card, I used the following stamp sets from our sponsor, The Craft’s Meow: It’s a Banner Day, Celebrating You, & Timeless Tags.

TCM, though still a new company, has already provided me some of my most treasured stamps. I love the variety that they add to my stamp collection, and I am so, so grateful to have a chance to use them. TCM July Release Blog Hop

Hi everyone!

Welcome to The Craft’s Meow’s July Release – Blog Hop!

Today marks the release of 4 fabulous stamp sets at TCM:

These stamp sets will have you ready for plenty of summer paper-crafting! The sets were designed by Nina Brackett as well as Michelle Bertuzzi - both wonderfully talented artists! So let’s check out what I’ve created for ya today…

This first card features stamps from It’s a Banner Day and Lovely Birds.

I was in the mood for something fresh & fun, and this sweet banner was the perfect accent to my Crafty Secret summertime image.

That sweet sentiment will be used SO much, I can guarantee it! I adore the size and style of font in that set!

Next up we have a girly, fun card which features stamps from Life Is a Carnial.

I instantly thought of Crate Paper’s Emma’s Shoppe collection when I saw this stamp, and I think the combination turned out pretty well.

Is that not the neatest sentiment you’ve ever seen? Love it!

And lastly, I have a card which features one new and one older set: Baggin’ Some Rays, and It’s a Shore Thing:

I couldn’t resist creating a little scene with this cute polka-dot sun! Oh my word it’s adorable! And there are more styles where that came from!

I stamped the waves in varying colors, and I just love how those swirly bad boys look all stacked up like that! It’s such a fun image to play with!

TCM June Release

TCM Preview – Day 4… It’s a Shore Thing

Hi everyone!

Just popping in to quickly share a card that features It’s a Shore Thing, the 5th and final stamp set being released on June 1st at The Craft’s Meow.

This set was designed by miss Michelle Bertuzzi, and when I tell you it’s oozing with sweet, summery cuteness, I am not exaggerating. Check out those fun waves… I *heart* this stamp, I really, really do!

I decided to give some love to my goodies from The Girls’ Paperie, so that’s where all of the die cuts you see come from. The buttons are from a local vintage shop, the sweet florette is from The Little Pink Studio and that ribbon, as always, is from MemrieMare on Etsy.

Another favorite of mine from the set is that cute tag image that houses all of the sentiments so well. Michelle has such a great eye for stamp design, I know you all will fall for this set when you see it! It’s a must have for your summer-seasonal stash.

TCM Preview – Day 3… Sending You Sunshine & Just Sayin’

Hey y’all! Happy Memorial Day!

We had our share of BBQ this weekend, so today we’re just relaxing and enjoying the day off.

This also marks the third day of previews for this month’s release at The Craft’s Meow. My card has a sneak peek of two sets: Sending You Sunshine & Just Sayin’.

Sending You Sunshine has some of the cutest little scenery stamps, but there are also some sweet banners. It may be a little hard to see in my photo above, but I first stamped a banner image with background patterns in very light pink ink, and then I stamped the “hello” banner directly on top of it in a bolder shade of pink.

Here you can see the cute background alphabet stamp that I used from Just Sayin’ to create a fun strip there in Scattered Straw. Such a fun font…

These stamp sets coordinate perfectly with Crate Paper’s Neighborhood collection, as well. How sweet is that word bubble with the chipboard birdie?… Love it for sentiments…

TCM Preview – Day 2… Timeless Tags

Hello, Hello!

Here we are and it’s Day 2 of the previews over at The Craft’s Meow! I have some gorgeous tags from the set Timeless Tags to share with you today… Another beautiful set by Nina that coordinates with Spellbinders Grommet Tags.

This set features 4 tag images, 4 sweet sentiments, and a beautiful filigree. All of the new sets will be available for purchase on June 1st at The Craft’s Meow Store.

I combined two sentiments to create “Happy Wishes” on my card.

I used lots of Pink Paislee’s Butterfly Garden papers and ephemera which are also featured in my Fly Free card kit. I added some coarse glitter for some extra pretty.

Above, you can get a better look at that pretty filigree stamp in the set.
