Hey y’all!
Happy Friday! I’m so sorry that I’ve been absent this week. I’ve been under the weather and by the time I get home at night I’m wiped clean of all my energy.
Anyway, enough of that- I’m here to share a project that I made for the Crate Paper blog. I also did a tutorial for it, which you can find linked below.
I’ve had several inquiries about how to make coordinating envelopes to go with the mini cards that I sometimes like to make. Well, I decided to finally whip out a tutorial on just that. I played with the delicious Restoration collection and tried to keep it pretty simple for ya. Head on over to the Crate Paper blog to check it out.
Thanks again for stopping by and leaving some love. Your comments are each read and individually appreciated!

Hey y’all!
Today I’m joining in on this month’s Papertrey Ink Blog Hop, and I’m super glad you decided to stop by! Let’s get right to it, shall we?
I have to first admit that I was a bit intimidated by the theme, Brown Bag Special, when I first learned of it. “What on earth am I going to do with this?” I said… out loud. Lol. So, feeling a bit uninspired by the theme itself, I decided to pull out my PTI stamps and flip through them until an idea hit me… and it did! I had been neglecting my All Booked Up stamp set, and I decided to get it inky. One reasons I love this stamp set is that it reminds me so much of my daughter Sydney. She’s been a book lover since she could barely crawl! And with that in mind, I came up with today’s project.
By folding two brown, paper bags in half (after cutting off the bottoms) and stapling them together at the fold, I came up with a fun little satchel that Syd can hold on to. I covered it with a piece of card stock and then had some fun makin’ it pretty.
Syd has always had a list of her favorite books. Some she already has in her collection, and some that are still on her wish list. The little library cards inside each pocket of the satchel are a perfect place for Syd to jot down a book that she’s been wanting, so as not to forget. It also gives me a good place to refer to when it’s time to do some birthday shopping.
When she finally adds the book to her collection, she can take the library card out and use it as a bookmark… and of course add another book to her wish list.
If you have any questions about my project (or anything else), please ask away… I’m always happy to respond to you guys!
Thanks for hopping by!

Hey y’all!
I thought I’d start the week off by sharing one of my cards in PC’s Card Style book. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I encourage you to go pick one up – they’re chock full of stylish inspiration! This card was featured in the Shabby Chic & Vintage section, if I remember correctly.
I used some pretty Webster’s Pages paper, some May Arts crochet ribbon, PTI twill, and some Zva Creative jewels to tie it all together. The star of the show (to me) is that beautiful sentiment stamp, which comes from an exclusive stamp set by Clear & Simple Stamps. Be sure to swing by the CSS Store to check out the tons of other stamp sets they have for you to try.
Well, that’s all for me today folks! I’ll be back tomorrow with something fun to share!

Hey y’all! How are ya?!
I hope you’re having an awesome Saturday. I have a long list of things to do this weekend, the majority of which are craft-related…. But then there’s the typical laundry, kids’ events, studying, grocery shopping, etc…. Gotta love it. Lol.
Well, on to the good stuff… This card is for this week’s Waltzingmouse Sketch #11. Check out the sketch:

Hey there y’all!
I’m so excited to be joining you for the hop! I am a huge fan of Cards for Kids and all of the joy that it spreads. So when I got wind of this incredible blog hop, I just had to sign up! With this blog hop, our hope is to bring as much awareness as possible to the wonderful cause we have all come to love so much…. and to make things fun, there will be prizes given out to some randomly selected participants and commenters! So with that, I’ll make this quick so you move on in your journey along the blog hop. You ought to be arriving here from Bonnie Rose’s blog, and if not, make your way to the beginning of the hop at the Lawn Fawn blog.
My projects were inspired by the desire to make something fast and fun to send to Cards for Kids that the children would be able to hang on to and look at whenever they need a smile. Bookmarks are such great “token” gifts that you can slip to someone as a “cherry on top” with any card or gift that you send. I used 3 Lawn Fawn stamp sets on this project: Partly Cloudy, Critters in the ‘Burbs, and How Delightful (all linked below). I hope you enjoy them!
Up next on your hop is the wonderful Michelle!
Thanks so very much for taking the time to hop along with us, and thank you for continuing to support Cards for Kids!

Hey y’all!
I’m here to share my card for this month’s Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz! This month’s theme is to create a project with a “Shabby Chic” theme. This has got to be one of my favorite styles out there… I used Color Combos Galore # 155 as my color palette and had lots of fun with the fabulous Waltzingmouse Stamps!
I reached for my all time favorite sentiment set, Fancy Phrases, and coupled it with one of the most elegant label stamps around… Very Vintage Labels #2. I really love that there are nesting stamps in this set. They allow you to create a label image by layering frames, as I did here. These nesting frames add such a special element of dimension, I can’t get enough of them!

Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll see you tomorrow for the Lawn Fawn *hearts* Cards for Kids blog hop!… til then… Happy waltzing!
