I’m back with a second round of projects to showcase the Wplus9 Holiday Release. If you ask me, the dies are the stars of the collection! I’ll show you why…
There’s no denying that Dawn (owner and designer of Wplus9) has always had such a great knack for creating classic, trendy, yet sophisticated stamps. But now that she has introduced matching and coordinating dies into the Wplus9 product line, the designs have taken off to a whole new level of awesomeness!
The first card was created using the Silver Bells Stamps and dies. I also threw in a couple of sprigs from Merry & Bright. I can’t tell you how much fun it is to sit down and create your own little vignettes using the dies and stamps.
This card also showcases some dies from Under the Mistletoe, which is a free-standing die set that coordinates so well with all of the other stamp and die sets in the release. I love, love, love the delicate sprigs of mistletoe, so I hung two of them beneath my spray. The intricate branches die cut just beautifully… I mean the quality of these dies is just top of the line. I added some berries and glittered them up, and then stamped my sentiment directly onto the card base to keep the focus on the dimensional dies.
Up next I have a more girly card that captures the coziness of the set, Heartfelt Holiday.
How adorable are the little heart-adorned stockings?! I think making this card officially launched me into “ready-mode” for the holidays… there’s something about hanging those stockings that just flips a switch in me.
So, I wanted to frame the stockings without taking too much attention away from them, so I stamped the delicate wreath from this set in a lighter neutral color, and then highlighted it with some of those sweet hearts.
And then a little glitter to flank the popped up panel… because you can never have too much glitter. :)…
There are tons of images in Heartfelt Holiday set, and I wanted to let them be the stars of the show on some more gift tags…
It was so easy to die cut and stamp out these cute images. Can you just imagine all of the fun color combinations you could create with these? The foliage frame you see on the tags comes from the Heartfelt Holidays set as well. I included the detailed bow die from Under the Mistletoe, and topped that with the Basic Banner Die. The sentiments are also from Heartfelt Holidays.
I have some more to share with you shortly, but in the mean time, you can see what some of the other girls have created for you before you go shopping! :)
