We’re embarking upon one of the happiest times of the year, and what better way to do that than with a bit of crafty inspiration and a brand new release from Wplus9 Stamps? I have a few projects to share with you over the next few days, and I’m ready to dive right in if you are!…
One of my favorite things to create for the holidays are handmade gift tags . You really can’t have too many of them. So when I saw the beautiful wreaths and dies in the Woodland Wreaths collection, I knew they would be perfect mounted on a little tag.
But please don’t let my use of the word “little” here deceive you… these wreaths and dies are a substantial size, making them easy to handle and manipulate, while still leaving room on your project for some embellishment.
If you’re like me and still hold the Fresh Cut Florals collection near and dear to your heart, then you will just adore this collection. I’m pretty sure you’ll get tired of hearing the term “endless possibilities” with reference to this set, but there truly are SO many fun ways to mix and match the different elements. My mind is still swirling with ideas!
So with the holiday tags done, I thought I’d change things up a bit and create an Autumn-themed card. I pulled the color inspiration from one of my past Card Color Inspirations, and it really came together easily from there.
My favorite part of this project was stamping the two-toned leaves… Ahhh, sweet Fall… I’m so ready for crisp air, thick sweaters, and… football! Haha!
Up next is a stamp and did set that is also quite versatile and will prove to be a staple in your holiday collection…. Merry & Bright.
I went the traditional route with this card, and was sure to add lots of dimension. The label die was perfect for creating a little window for the arrangement.
You can see in the photo above that I die cut a second candle holder from a sheet of acetate to add a “glassy” effect. I love the wood grain background stamp from Dockside Backgrounds, too. It adds just the right amount of “rustic” feel to the card.
Be sure to come back for more inspiration over the next few days… The big release will go live on October 5th, so be ready! In the meantime, you can see all of the die collections up close and personal ahead of time. Then, check out what some of the other girls have created for you…
