So many of us have been looking forward to this month’s Waltzingmouse release, and I’m so excited that it’s finally here! Spring is quickly approaching, and Claire has crafted some beautiful stamps for us to use as we enjoy the changing of season…

This month Waltzingmouse Stamps will be releasing 3 new stamp sets on Friday, March 8th:

  • A Good Egg,
  • Folk Art Labels No. 25, &
  • Folk Art Medallion

Today we’ll be showcasing stamps from the A Good Egg stamp set. This set is packed y’all! And they ring true to the classic, elegant designs that Claire is so widely known for.

I created this first card with the color palette in the forefront of my mind.

First I stamped a pastel background using some gradient shades of ink that spoke to me when I thought about Spring. From there I built the rest of my card. I love the softness of this palette mixed with the pop of bling. :) I mounted the centrepiece on a mini envelope for more impact.

This second card provides you with a different take on this seemingly “Easter-ish” stamp set…. I mean come on, who said eggs were only for Easter anyway? Lol… So this is a friendly card with some friendly sentiments.

The colors here are bright and sunny, in keeping with the theme of the card. A Good Egg provides another wonderful combination of fonts that will make this set hard to put down. I shabbied things up with some acrylic paint and vintage buttons… and then kept it trendy by adding a couple of strips of graphic washi. How’s that breaking the style boundaries? Lol…

  2. Two terrific cards with cute new stamps! Like the shabby pastel w/the contrast of the silver doily and pompoms. Too cute! The “good egg” card is full of fun elements including the paper bag ep, colorful banners and the loopy bow seam binding. Nice work! :)

  3. Two great creations Sarah! love the silver doily and pom pom ribbon on the first and the touches of red on your rooster card!
