Every now and then, you meet someone who is newly in love. The way they bubble over in excitement just thinking about what the future holds for her and her mere love…
It’s an excitement that I wish would never fade in anyone’s heart… But I’m afraid it does, and it can…
…if you let it.
I still have plenty of moments where I smile to myself at the thought of my sweet man. The best moments are when I see him making a complete fool of himself simply to get a grin from one of our little ones… He doesn’t hold back, and as a result, neither can I hold back my own smiles.
And of course happily ever after doesn’t come about without a bit of work. But it’s work that is well worth the reward, especially with a hubby like mine. ;)
I made this card for a distant friend who is approaching an important day in her life. Soon, she will face her beau and say, “I do.”
And I pray she gets her happily ever after… literally.
Who doesn’t deserve every bit of that?
So I began by creating a die cut window using Spellbinders Labels No. 18. Then I stamped my sentiment from Big Day Additions onto a piece of acetate and heat embossed it using silver embossing powder.
I just love how it turned out.
I also stamped a frame behind the window using an image from Very Vintage Labels No. 25.
This card was a treat to make. I had fun stamping inside the card, too, using the Say It Loud set. I housed the card in a glassine bag with some confetti in it to add a bit of sparkle. :)
I sure hope it pleases the bride to be and her groom.
All my best,

Beautiful! Love the touches of pink!
This is beautiful!
So beautiful, dear Sarah!
This is sooooooooooooooooo beautiful!!! Love the silver embossing on acetate, and I know the bride and groom will love it!
Beautiful, beautiful card! I agree. Marriage is only as good as what you’re willing to put into it. And it’s worth every effort. :)
This is beautiful Sarah!
