Here we are with another day of Wplus9 sneak peeks. I’ve been really inspired by color trends, and this orange-mint-navy combo is a new favorite…
Another thing I’ve fallen in love with is the use of mesh lace, or netting as some people may call it. You can see a bit of eyelet lace peeking from behind the layered lacey image above. Isn’t is such a pretty design? Dawn hit it out of the ball park with this set! Speaking of… Here is what the girls and I are using in our sneak peeks today:
- Lacey Layers,
- Lacey Layers Companion Die, &
- Embroidered Bouquet

The Lacey Layers Companion Die set is one of my favorite die sets in my stash. It is PACKED, y’all. Chocked full of SO many shapes that go with all of the gorgeous lacey designs in Lacey Layers… including several nesting circles! I know you’ll love these when you see them (check them out on Dawn’s blog now!).
I die cut and stamped some of the lacey circles, in keeping with my orange-mint-navy color scheme, and then stitched them together to make a cute little decor for my gift bag. Then I die cut one of the larger lacey shapes, and then stamped it with two different lacey images. The sweet “friend” sentiment is from the Embroidered Bouquet set. I stacked everything with some buttons and a doily to finish my bag off.

I adore the large stitched bouquet in Embroidered Bouquet so much, so I stamped it repeatedly to create a background on my card. I kept the layout of the card fairly simple so that you could focus on the gorgeous pattern. There are tons of little accent stamps squeezed into this set, too, so I used them to add some pops of navy throughout my background.
The “thank you” sentiment is one of the smaller supporting sentiments in Embroidered Bouquet, and it was the perfect finishing touch to my card.

Well I’m going to wrap things up here… I want you to make sure you pop by Dawn’s blog so you don’t miss out on a chance to win some goodies from this release! After that, check out what the rest of the DT has created:

Today we have a LOT of fun stuff planned! Sie is taking Syd to the Daddy-Daughter Dance at school, we have a birthday party in the morning, and then a Mardi Gras parade in the evening! No rest for the weary around here! :) Do any of you celebrate Mardi Gras? You don’t have to be in Louisiana to have fun… I say through yourself a party and “Laissez les bons temps rouler!” (Let the good times roll!)
Talk to ya soon!
