Hey yall!
Have you been by the Waltzingmouse Sketch Blog this week? If you’re looking for some good inspiration, then head on over. Theres still time to play!
I have 2 sketches up this week for you to choose from, which is a bit of a part from the norm. But I did that because I really wanted to give scrappers a chance to play along, too. So I created comparable card & page sketches… You can have your pick!
After all, Waltzingmouse Stamps are not just for card makers!
I made this page based on the sketch, and to see tons of cards made based on the card sketch, head over to the WMSC blog - those ladies dont mess around, their work is amazing!
My page today is of Sydney and me back when she was just a few months old. These were some tough times for me, but I wouldn’t be who I am today had I not gone through it.
I don’t know where the energy and drive came from, to get it all done, but I did it. And I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect daughter to motivate me along the way. So many nights I would be so tired, worn, exhausted, and Sydney would just make me forget about it all. Somehow, she erased the burden I had been carrying all day… with just a smile. I don’t quite know how else to sum it up other than saying…
She’s my joy.
Always will be.

Well thanks for stopping by! I’ve got TONS of catching up to do!
Don’t forget to play along with us at the WMS Sketch blog (you have until Friday)… Remember, it’s for card makers AND scrappers!
See ya soon!

What a beautiful page with heartfelt journaling!! I was a young mother too (at 17), and my son started college today – wow, how the time flies!!
This is so beautiful! Just lovely.
Wow… Sarah… what a beautiful heartfelt page…. I am sure your baby will treasure this always…. TFS
shamela ;p)
So beautiful, Sarah…from the photo to the design, and especially to the journaling.
The journaling is perfectly written. Reading it, I can feel the emotions. And the words in scrapbooking is a very important part of the page following the picture itself.
