Hey y’all!
Today I want to send a happy birthday shout-out to a sweetheart named Paulina! She’s one of the nicest people I’ve come in contact with since I began crafting, and I’m so glad to have met her.
I made this card, and what you probably can’t tell is that Paulina helped me make it! Do you see that fun floral paper that I die cut with the Spellbinders Labels 2? Well, Paulina hand stamped a stack of pages just like that, and colored them all in, one-by-one. I saw the papers when she first shared them online and I fell in love! So much so that she sent me some of my very own! How sweet is that? So of course I had to incorporate that beautiful paper into my design.

My card was loosely inspired by this week’s sketch at 2 Sketches 4 You.
Thanks Paulina for the gorgeous papers, and for having such a kind and loving spirit! I hope your day is full of smiles, hugs & sweet surprises!
Happy Birthday Paulina!
Wish Paulina some birthday love, and let me know that you did (by end of day tomorrow)… I’ll draw a name for a free set of these doilies.

Aww Sarah. That is so sweet and beautiful! I love her paper. I remember seeing her custom made paper on her blog as well. I love that you incorporated it into the card you made in honor of her. So sweet and thoughtful and I know she appreciates it….. Happy Birthday sweet Paulina!!!
Your card came out great! Paulina did an awesome job with the pattern paper. I love her work! And I totally agree, she’s super sweet! I said the exact same thing on my blog last night too. Happy Birthday to Paulina!
Stunning Sarah, and perfect for sweet Paulina!
Thanks for playing at 2S4Y!

Thanks for the chance to win!
Oh my those are beautiful papers! Great creations! I love the card!
Hi Sarah!!! What a sweet birthday card, Paulinas patterned paper is too cute! I already left her a bd wish but thank you for the chance to win, shes so sweet!
Lovely lovely card Sarah! Isn’t Paulina the sweetest! I left her some love early today and hope she is enjoying her special day.
Beautiful! I love that butterfly!
Wow, that’s great paper and I love your card!!! It’s funny you said “loosely” because I just got done with my 2s4y for Dawn’s challenge that’s going to go live the 15th and mine’s “loosely” as you put it following the sketch. But really, like I always say, if you look really hard you can see the resemblance
I have sewing around my paper. Not as nice as yours or as creative. I thought of zig-zagging on the top corner but I decided not to just in case. My sewing machine… either I can’t use it or it’s just unpredictable. I think I just need another one… even my lines aren’t as nice as yours… too close together!! One more thing… my card has butterflies too! I pinky promise I didn’t see yours before I made mine
I ALMOST put a lace under my ribbon too — that’d be too much ha ha ha…
Beautiful card Sarah, I especially love that gorgeous butterfly.
Well done and thanks for the inspiraton.
Dropped by to wish Paulina a happy birthday.

Oh my this is beautiful! I agree I can see why you loved the paper! I also wished her happy birthday…in fact it was in Hawaiian, and I believe it was two comments below yours if you want to check it out…ha!
I love all your work that is one of the many reasons I subscribe with you!!!
Hope you are having a wonderful day!
Warm aloha!

So soft and beautiful!! LOVE it!!
Wow. This card is gorgeous. Love the soft colors & that delicious butterfly.
Love ur work!!
It’s simply amazing all the wonderful people I’ve met through papercrafting blogs. I had a charity card drive 3 years ago for our local humane society and met a gal who sent in her card contribution that lives in San Francisco. I emailed her to thank her for her lovely cards and we found we had so much in common and struck up a friendship. We love sending each other handmade creations on special occasions.
this is gorgeous!
Beautiful! Gosh these colors go so well together, love it!
Love your work. So delicate, creative and detailed. Great job and can’t wait to see what is next. Go girl!
