Enter to win no later than Friday June 11 at 11:59pm CST!
Now that we have that out of the way… take some time to look around, all of my old posts have been transferred over to this site, so if you want to search the site or browse the archives, it’s all still there!
One new thing that you may have noticed is my Etsy shop. I’ve had it open for a little while now, but I’ve made a recent effort to keep it stocked and full of goodies for you to browse and shop for. Take a look and feel free to shop any time! I’ll keep it linked up in my side bar. Psssst… I’ll be adding something extra special to my shop for you later today!
I just want to take another moment to say thank you so very much for all of your support thus far, and for all of your future support! I continue to be encouraged and motivated by each of you each and every day. Thanks a million times over!
And last but certainly not least… I have to send a HUGE shout-out and thanks to my dear friends Hannah Craner (who designed this beautiful blog) and Savitri Wilder (who helped me with lots of back-end support and motivation to finally get this done!). We can all thank the two of them for this wonderful new site I am able to have.
Hugs and lots of love to you both! xoxo
*Happy Memorial Day!*

*Lawn Fawn Sneak Peek* – Critters of the Sea
Hey y’all!
I’m here with the first sneak peek of the June Lawn Fawn Release! The set is chock full of cuteness; so much so, that I had to create a full set of mini note cards to showcase it. I pulled out the acetate and sewed a bit here and there. This is perfect for sharing sweet notes with a little person in your life. I can see myself sneaking one of these into Sydney’s lunch box every now and then….So, so sweet.
All new Lawn Fawn sets will be fully revealed and for sale in the Lawn Fawn store on June 3rd at 12:01am EDT
Well, this is my last official “crafty” post on this blog… the next post you see will be revealing my brand new website! I have so much to celebrate, but I’ll wait until then to share it all…. I’m bubbling with excitement, I really am! I just love new beginnings! Stay tuned!…

*I Heart You* + Exciting News!

Good morning lovelies!
Thanks for popping by today! I just had to share this card that I made for the current challenge at The Shabby Tea Room to incorporate polka dots into your project. I’m not a person who is constantly reaching for polka dots, but I do love them so much… so I whipped out my Core’dinations Card Stock and sanded away.
Hope you like!
(My apologies for the diminished quality of the photos… one of my work lamps is missing…ahem, hubby, ahem… Lol!)
… Ok I can’t hold it any longer… besides moving to my new website, there’s something else that has me in celebration!… This morning I’m SO excited to share that I was chosen for Gallery Idol’s Top 20!!! I am completely at a loss for words right now, and so incredibly excited… I know this will be a fun (and probably nerve-wrecking) experience, but I’m thrilled to be a part of it! A humongo thanks to the ladies at Paper Crafts Mag for this honor! Also, I am so happy to see some sweet acquaintances and really good friends who were also chosen to be in the Top 20. Congratulations to all of you!
And thanks so much to my friends who continue to encourage me in all that I do. I love you dearly!

*Embellish Magazine Blog Hop*
Hey y’all!
Welcome to the Embellish Magazine Blog Hop! I’m so excited to be playing along with this hop! We are celebrating the premiere issue of the amazing ezine founded by Ashley and her hubby Mac – the dynamic duo! Lol! It’s been such a thrill to be a part of this awesome new publication with my column Trendy Perspective, and to be able to design with the amazing team of designers in our Embellish Magazine Color Challenges.
We each created a project for this hop using the same requirements of the premiere issue of Embellish… using: red, brown, kraft, turquoise and embellishing with twine. These colors make me so happy! And who doesn’t love twine? I decided to create something a bit shabby, but a bit CAS too. Fun, right? You can see endless projects and loads of inspiration in the issue, which is easily downloadable here.
If you haven’t already, be sure to start the blog hop off at the Embellish Magazine Blog where you can find all the rules of the hop. There you will also find a whole host of prizes available to those who participate by commenting, so stop by each blog to increase your chances! There will be 10 winners! I hope you will celebrate with us!
Prize contest open until Monday 5pm EST. Winners will be announced Tuesday, June 1.

Read More*Adore That Smile*

Hi everyone!
Today I’m sharing one of the scrap projects I’ve been working on lately. I can’t seem to get enough of my The Girls’ Paperie goodies, so I pulled out some old portraits of my sweet Sydney from when she was just 9 months old, and got to scrappin’.
I’ve also been having lots of fun with tulle lately. It adds such a fun touch of soft texture that doesn’t interrupt the flow of your layout, but keeps the eye interested. I casually stitched a layer of the tulle to the base of my layout, and I also die cut several layers of it to make the sweet flower flanked by that gorgeous vintage button, also from The Girls’ Paperie.
I tried to capture the soft mood of the photo in my layout. Sydney’s smile is such a direct reflection of her loving, gentle and caring nature, and I hope my page displays it well. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
